Snotty noses and coughs

I feel like I could be swimming in a pool of snot. It's gross, I know... but with as many snotty noses that I've wiped in the past 3-4 days, it could fill a pool! We have gone through a box and a half of tissues in that time! It never fails that when snotty noses are present there is also a cough. Both girls have this nagging cough that is 198798709809878089 times worse at night. :( So I haven't been getting very much sleep due to that. R is at WLC and working hard. I'm really proud of him and hope he's able to study hard to make the Commandant's List (its like an honor graduate)! The girls are doing very good so far with him being gone! C is telling everyone that "her daddy is far, far away and will be home in two weeks". It cracks me up! While we were outside playing yesterday with our neighbors, A was walking around saying "dada! dada! dada!" nonstop looking for him. Breaks my heart, but he'll be home soon. If he deploys again, these little girls' hearts are going to break. I just hope he's able to do what he needs to hopefully prolong the time until another deployment!

No news is good news!

So not a whole lot is going on aside from the usual stuff day in and day out. We had a very nice trip back home for Easter! It was a whirlwind trip full of visits with my best friend, family pictures, egg hunts, celebrating my youngest sister's birthday, AND my sister got engaged! It was a great trip and though we didn't want to leave we were glad to finally get back home and sleep in our own beds. C is still in part day pre-school, but I have already got her all set up for Pre-K in the fall. Can it be? Am I really going to have a Pre-K'er? I can't be that old! A is growing like a weed and becoming more and more adorable each and every day! R is going to WLC this week for 2ish weeks. I'm so proud of him! I can't wait for him to finish and then be able to get promoted. About a week or so after R gets home, C will have her surgery to remove her tonsils and adenoids. Sometime after her surgery, my sister will be coming up to visit for a little bit. She is a nurse, so it'll be nice to have someone help!

We also discovered that C has a food allergy to.... kiwi. Crazy, huh? Apparently it's a very common food allergy for young children. I had no idea, but you learn something new everyday! R is getting snipped a few days after he comes home from WLC. I feel like everyone is having medical things done.... its a tad stressful! I'm hoping he's up to par to help out with the little one while C is recovering from her surgery. All in all, we are living life each day and enjoying it! Lots of playing outside, playing with our siblings, and enjoying each and every day!
